Did you know that Microsoft recently released a SharePoint Administration kit, to help administer manage Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Server 2007 and Windows® SharePoint®Services version 3.0 implementations?  It contains the ability to diagnose performance issues, perform bulk operations on site collections, an Stsadm operation to update alert e-mails after the URL for a Web application has been changed, and a User Profile Replication Engine tool. provides administrators with a unified interface for troubleshooting SharePoint Server performance issues. About Us
The Pittsburgh Area SharePoint Users Group is dedicated to providing educational and informational resources for Microsoft SharePoint technologies and related products. Its purpose is to bring the local SharePoint community together to network and to share tips, tricks and ideas on SharePoint technologies, as well as to provide a forum for people involved with SharePoint. The target audience for this users group includes developers, designers, administrators, and power user. The technologies involved include Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS), Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, and Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer.
